The design will transform the space into a contemporary garden in Henleaze. The garden is spacious but unpractical in its current state. The family use the garden for play, to grow edibles and to relax and dine in during the warmer months. The house sits above the garden and a smoother transition via steps and raised seating area will unite the internal and external spaces. Flow will be created throughout the garden, connecting the different functional spaces, through hard landscaping of hardwood decking steps and platforms. A pergola will offer a place to dine and relax. Raised beds will be repositioned within the design and made more practical. The existing log store will be re-designed and incorporate storage for garden tools and an area created for the trampoline. Contemporary slatted fencing will update the tired boundaries.
